aka Eddie Craig & Jim Sullivan
The Wideboys consist of the dynamic duo Eddie Craig & Jim Sullivan. Jim has been running a full time professional recording studio since 1993 and Eddie has been Djing for 17 years and producing/song writing for 15 and they met when Ed was running a record shop called Vip Vinyl. The boys get on incredibly well, having never had an argument and are musically aligned (if only marriages lasted this long).
The Wideboys are managed by Matt Waterhouse from MWR / Hyperactive and in 2008 they signed to Sony ATV Music Publishing. Having been signed in various deals with the likes of Warner, Universal, AATW the boys have found a home with Skint / Loaded Records in 2010, whose previous successes have included Freemasons & Fat Boy Slim. The boys won "Best Dance Act" at The Urban Music Awards in 2008 beating Basement Jaxx, Booty Luv, Donaeo & DJ Q. They also won Best Newcomer at the 2000 U.K. Garage awards fending off stiff competition from Wookie and the Heartless Crew and were presented the award by Spice Girl Mel B and Spoony.
Over the past few years they have worked on big projects with Def JAM USA for Rihanna's Worldwide multi platinum "Good Girl Gone Bad" . Their track featuring Ivor Novello Award winner Shaznay Lewis (All Saints) entitled "Daddy -O" reached no.32 in the National Charts in 2008 there classic track with Dennis G "Sambuca went to No. 15 in the Uk top 40 without any daytime Radio 1 support. In 2009 Ed & Jim delved into pop production for charity and produced the comic relief single for the Saturdays " Just Can't Get Enough” which reached no.2 in the official sales charts selling over 60,000 copies in one week. Recently the boys have had original productions on 2 number 1 Uk acts albums - Roll Deeps and the Wanted.

The boys have mixed and compiled 7 TV advertised albums for Ministry of Sound which have all gone top 5 in the UK charts with combined sales of 500,000 copies.

The boys have also compiled a budget album for Decadance (entitled No.1 Garage & Bassline album) which remarkably went into the top 30 of the charts..
The Wideboys believe” pigeon holes are for pigeons” and have written tracks in almost every genre of dance music from house, garage, bassline, electro, 4x4, 2 step, rock, hardcore, hiphop, r & b, acoustic, drum & bass, ambient, breaks and have written between them over 4,000 tracks and remixes under various guises.
The Wideboys reached the Top5 Charts and UK double platinum status with their original track and album entitled "Thinking it Over" for Liberty X's which sold over 1,000,000 copies. The boys have performed on Big Brothers Big Mouth, Top of the Pops, the Nokia Green Room, and have appeared on countless other shows including the Big Breakfast, T4, Liquid News, MTV, Nickelodeon, Pop world etc with their club smashes “In the VIP”, "Sambuca", "Daddy-O", "Snowflake”. They have also featured on multiple No.1 UK and US chart hits with their remixing prowess consistently over the last 15 years.
The boys are always proactive in the music industry and freelance A&R for various top labels. In 2008 the boys played a part in the signing of the massive No.2 National Chart anthem "What's It Gonna Be" by H"two"O and Platinum and received a prestigious sales award.
The Wideboys have performed all over the world and regularly appear on radio stations BBC Radio 1/ Kiss/ BBC 1xtra. They have held international residencies at venues Eden & ES Paradis in Ibiza .They have played most major clubs in the UK and regularly play at festivals and clubs around the world. Highlights include the Zurich Street Parade Switzerland to 1,000,000 people plus and the Stopplemarkt festival Germany 750,000 people. Still in the studio everyday of the week the boys constantly strive for fresh and interesting takes on the music business and they do it because they love what they do!!!!
